We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a physician s office in the Fleming Island and Orange Park, FL area (south of Jacksonville).
Schedule/Shift: 8:30am- 5pm (30 minute lunch); Monday - Friday; Target Start Date: ASAP

The Certified Medical Assistant assists with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician.
Responsibilities:
Assists with treatments ordered by physician as supervised by physician or registered nurse.
Performs select clinical duties.
Interviews patients for medical history, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts.
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filing.
Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.

Experience:
Previous Medical Assistant experience required.
High school diploma or the equivalent required.
Completion of a Medical Assistant Program required.
Electronic Medical Record experinece (EMR/EHR)
Licenses & Certifications:
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider required.
National Medical Assistant Certification Required (NCCT or RMA)
