Summary:
Tough Guys Cookies is seeking dedicated individuals to join our production team as Manufacturing Associates.
The Manufacturing Associate will play a vital role in the production process, assisting with baking, packaging, and quality control to ensure the delivery of delicious cookies to our customers.
Responsibilities:
1.
Assist with the baking of cookies according to established recipes and production schedules.
2.
Operate and monitor baking equipment, ensuring proper temperature, timing, and quality of baked goods.
3.
Prepare ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and portioning ingredients accurately.
4.
Assist with the packaging of cookies, including labeling, sealing, and preparing products for shipment.
5.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to ensure products meet company standards for taste, appearance, and freshness.
6.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area, including cleaning equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas.
7.
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
8.
Assist with inventory management, including monitoring ingredient levels and notifying management when supplies need to be replenished.
9.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines effectively.
10.
Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge of cookie production processes.
Requirements:
1.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2.
Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
3.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
4.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
5.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
6.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
7.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
8.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
