7K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago The Patient Access Manager provides day-to-day supervisory support to administrative and clerical staff following established standards and practices.
Responsible for the day-to-day functions of patient and office flow in conjunction with the Clinical Manager.
Establishes and implements policies and procedures related to patient access workflows.
Handles non-clinical related patient complaints and concerns while working to increase overall patient satisfaction and engagement.
Ensures patient access operations remain within allocated expense structure.
Maintains and reports analytical and statistical data as required.
Establishes and maintains safety, policies and procedures, objectives, and infection control in the department.
Works closely with the Director of Practice Operations, Billing Coordinator, Patient Relations Coordinator, Clinical Manager, and Office Coordinators to ensure smooth flow of communication and consistency across all units.
Ensures the physical property of the offices are kept in good condition and informs the Director of any issues.
Orders and manages office equipment and supplies when needed.
Oversees clinical departments when Clinical Manager or Director is out of the office.
Attends monthly Provider and staff meetings as necessary.
Keeps all locations stocked with informational brochures and pamphlets.
Responsible for administrative/clerical annual reviews.
Manages, trains, and understands all clerical positions for all locations to include Billing, verification, Front Office (check in and checkout), Scheduling, Call Center, and Medical Records.
Processes employee entries for timekeeping and PTO for all administrative/clerical staff within HRIS system.
Develops and implements policies and procedures for Billing, Front Office, Scheduling, Call Center and Medical Records department.
Makes recommendations and changes as needed.
Creates training manuals, handouts, cheat sheets, and other training tools to enhance employee and provider skills.
Creates and runs daily and monthly eCW reports (schedule, appointment types, charges and payments, etc.
) Works closely with Director of Practice Operations, Billing Coordinator and CBO (corporate office) on processes and reports such as number of deliveries, charge sheets, delivery notes, call processes, etc.
Works closely with representatives at the CBO to maintain communication between the unit and the CBO AR Director, VP Revenue Cycle Management, AR Manager, and Verification Manager.
Demonstrates and embodies the Women's Care mission and core values.
Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent experience.
Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience with proven leadership, communication, team building and organizational skills.
Minimum 4 years of clerical experience in a medical office environment.
Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with Physicians, Staff, and Patients.
Ability to multi-task in a stressful, deadline-oriented environment.
Ability to use a computer and enter data in electronic medical record system, eCW a plus.
OB/GYN experience a plus.
Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
