$15-$20/Hour The Human Resources Assistant will assist the Vice President of Human Resources and department in compiling and maintain employee records and to help aid to administrative operation of the human resource department and interact with other employees, management, and other business associates.
A human resources assistant must be tactful, diplomatic and possess the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of an organization.
Responsibilities and duties of this position includes:
Follow all Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc.
's policies and procedures as set forth in the Board of Director's approved Personnel Handbook.
Promote the Agency's Mission- To promote The Power of People and Possibilities for individuals living with a disability.
Fill in as needed in Green Cove Springs for receptionist and vacations for HR.
Cross train in recruiting with HR Administrator and HR Employee Success Specialist.
Prepare applicant questionnaires and job descriptions for Project manager to interview.
Employee Personnel Files - Responsible for filing all forms, correspondence, training, and any required documents in the proper filing system set up by the agency.
Keep the file room in order.
Terminations - Pull files to merge into termination files, this will include medical records and I-9's.
Assist in New hire orientation.
Data entry Assistant VP of Human Resources and team with current and future projects as needed.
Accomplishes Human Resources department and agency's mission by completing related task as needed.
Prepare and type projects for Human Resources as needed.
Prioritize workload daily.
If conflicts occur, see your manager for assistance.
Being knowledgeable of all Challenge Enterprises projects and services Meets all position requirements as identified by Challenge Enterprises of North Florida, Inc.
Demonstrates a positive attitude towards your position and towards your peers, supervisors, volunteers, and front-line employees.
Complete assignments presented by immediate supervisor.
Participates in workshops, expositions, job fairs and attend meetings as assigned.
Utilize the Agency's computer network system to ensure ongoing communications.
Backup to the Human Resource Team.
Assist in scheduling, office reminders, and workplace organization.
Other duties as assigned.
Additional Responsibilities Rising Stars Volunteer Program Represent Human Resources and assist Vice President of Human Resources with agency site visits.
Other duties as assigned to grow the Human Resources Department goals as well as agency goals.
Program Administrative Duties:
Conduct a daily audit of consumer records to verify the presence of accurate and appropriate daily case notes.
Conduct audits of the consumer record in Therap, to ensure accurate data.
Review and verify all programs billing, submit verified billing to Vice President of Services for final review.
Review and verify that the electronic health record (Therap) matches the State of Florida client record system(iConnect) for services that are live in iConnect.
Identifies deficiencies in documentation of services.
Reviews documentation to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal compliance standards.
Reviews all required documentation for billing using approved electronic system.
Required
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a level 2 background check.
Prefer at least one year of human resources experience.
Confidentiality a MUST.
Must be flexible in work schedule.
Ability to work independently.
Must have experience in working with computers, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Must be able to understand written and oral instructions and follow through efficiently.
Must speak fluent English.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and lift to 25 pounds.
Communication Requirements:
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively nonverbally in utilizing technology available.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
